Welcome to Classes at Funkē Fired Arts
The Studio at Funke Fired Arts is an open learning environment for all ages and skill levels. We provide a learning community like no ther. Our classes have a common goal but are open to spontaneous demonstrations at any point. This keeps the energy level high and increases the student interest in many different parts of the clay medium. Our advanced and beginning classes meet at the same time so students can see what the next step looks like and advanced students can help with instruction.
Teachers at Funke Fired Arts are ready to lead students with as much intensity and direction as the individual desires. We want students who are looking for a career in clay to work side by side with students who are here to relieve stress after a long day at work. WE LOVE TO TEACH! This shows in every class we offer.
Grab your favorite bottle of wine and a couple of friends and we will do everything we can to give you a rewarding experience with clay.
If you are looking to rent studio space, Funke Fired Arts offers a unique experience for artists. We are a large educational facility but we are also a supply house. This means that anytime you need clay, glazes, tools, raw materials, ideas, critiques, or just advice – you are just a few steps away! Our facility is located in a great part of Cincinnati where good coffee and food are always close by. We also have a gallery to inspire and influence your work. As part of a continuing clay education, we provide sales opportunities for our booth renters as well as chances to design and set your own gallery show.
