Find out just how many ways can you apply imagery to the wet clay surface! From Katie: The objective will be to explore the many ways that imagery can be applied and layered onto the wet clay surface. We will be experimenting with inlay, iron oxide transfers, slip stenciling, and screenprinting underglaze onto wet tiles. Students will bring in a variety of images from small repeatable shapes to graphic imagery to be used throughout the day. We will also experiment with china paints, from basic painting and copying to screenprinting using pre-made glazed tiles. This class is open to anyone with basic ceramic knowledge.
All materials are included! Admission:
General – $100, Clay Alliance Members – $90, FFA Members – $80
