FUNKe FIRED ARTS’ Booth Rental Program has been designed for the needs of artists who are looking for a studio of their very own with the added benefit of a vibrant community of fellow artists. Our Booth Rental Program is perfect for an artist wishing to “set up shop” and “lay down roots”. Settling down at FUNKe’s is hardly settling down at all. By choosing to work at FUNKe’s you actively become a member of a truly dynamic artistic community with the latest equipment and technology at your finger tips. Professional artists will also be excited to know that FUNKe FIRED ARTS offers exciting opportunities for selling your art and submitting your work to exhibitions. Facts and Figures
Booth rental clients at FUNKe FIRED ARTS sign a 12-month lease agreement with the following benefits:
- Unlimited working time at FUNKe FIRED ARTS, seven days a week, during shop hours.
- Each Booth Rental client has an assigned 10’ X 10’ space, which contains a wheel, wedging board, and plentiful shelving units (twelve –24” x 48” including a top shelf for taller pieces).
- Access to the common areas of the shop, including the slab roller, extruder, and other general use equipment.
- Fifty (50) pounds of clay per month per booth, with a variety of options to choose from.
- 2000 cubic inches of firing space per month per booth.
- Additional cubic inches may be purchased. Please See Firing Information.
- Monthly account for supplies, materials, snacks, rental fee, etc. payable on the first of the month.
Please note that should your needs change, artists may terminate their lease agreements with 90 days written notice.
Would you like to ease your way into a Full Booth? Many booth rental clients share a booth, splitting the monthly rent and sharing the time, clay, cubic inches, and storage space. This works particularly well when tenants are able to predict the times of the day or week that they are most likely to be using the booth. For example, a daytime person can share with a nighttime artist very easily. FUNKe FIRED ARTS is happy to clients find a co-tenant.

Set Up
- Administration and Membership (One-Time Fee) – $50.00
- Refundable Security Deposit (Prorated by Booth Size) – $200.00
Monthly Rate
- Full Booth – $270.00
- Half Booth – $145.00
- Quarter Booth – $80.00
